제가 걸어온 길My journey

한국에서 고등학교를 마치고 미국에 왔고, 미국 육군에서 4년을 복무했습니다. 그 시간이 저에게 남긴 건 책임감과 규율, 그리고 한 사람의 건강이 얼마나 소중한가에 대한 생각이었습니다. 전역 후에는 UCLA에서 생화학을 공부했고, 이어서 UCLA 치과대학에서 치의학 학위(DDS)를 받았습니다. 2020년 졸업 이후 로스앤젤레스와 오렌지카운티의 여러 치과에서 6년간 다양한 환자분들을 만나왔습니다. 한국어와 영어 둘 다 편하게 씁니다. 가장 편한 언어로 말씀해 주세요.After finishing high school in Korea, I came to the United States and served four years in the U.S. Army. That experience taught me responsibility, discipline, and how precious each person’s health is. After leaving the Army, I studied biochemistry at UCLA and went on to earn my D.D.S. from the UCLA School of Dentistry. Since graduating in 2020, I have cared for a wide range of patients at practices across Los Angeles and Orange County for six years. I speak both Korean and English comfortably, so please use whichever language feels most natural to you.

임플란트, 오래 준비해왔습니다Years of preparation in implant dentistry

임플란트는 따로 시간을 들여 공부해온 분야입니다. 수년간 추가 교육을 이어갔고, 실제 진료에서도 충분한 경험을 쌓았습니다. 저는 임플란트를 단순히 ‘빠진 자리에 이를 심는 일’로만 보지 않습니다. 잘 씹히는지, 웃을 때 자연스러운지, 그리고 앞으로의 구강 건강까지 함께 놓고 계획합니다. 진단과 계획에는 CT와 구강 스캐너 같은 최신 장비를 사용합니다. 뼈의 상태를 3D로 미리 확인하고, 입안을 디지털로 스캔해 더 정확하게 준비합니다.Implant dentistry is an area I have studied with particular focus. I have pursued years of additional training and built extensive experience in practice. I do not see an implant as simply “placing a tooth where one is missing.” I plan with function, a natural-looking smile, and long-term oral health all in view. For diagnosis and planning, I use modern equipment such as CT imaging and an intraoral scanner—reviewing bone structure in 3D and digitally scanning the mouth to prepare with greater precision.
